Ecology Careers Conference

The British Ecological Society (BES) is pleased to announce tickets for the 2017 Undergraduate ecology careers conference are now on sale!

Are you a final year undergraduate and unsure of next steps? Curious about ecology-related jobs but don’t know where to look? Do you know where an undergraduate degree in ecology or ecology-related subjects can take you?

Answers to these questions and more can be found at the annual undergraduate ecology careers conference.

The annual event will be held on Monday 6 February 2017, from 9am – 4pm at Charles Darwin House, central London. The conference includes plenaries from BES President Sue Hartley, and forensic entomologist (FE) Amoret Whitaker – one of only a few FEs in the UK and whose work is not for the faint hearted!

The conference is full to the brim with presentations and panel discussions with speakers from policy, science communication, conservation and consultancy. It is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the different career paths open to those with an ecology-background. Additionally, we are planning an exciting, interactive afternoon of practical expert careers advice from industry (CIEEM) and the BES Special Interest Groups (SIGs).

We always sell out so book your place as soon as you can!
